Hello, my name is Megan Jarchow, formally known as Megan Tyjeski.
I’m an artist, runner, mom of two, and ice cream lover who lives in Oshkosh, WI. My mornings start with a run or work out, and I am always on the go. I spend my free time painting, taking photographs and playing with my kids. Nothing is better than creating artwork and listening to my favorite records. Let’s not forget, I like to bake yummy treats and drink COFFEE. During Engagement and Wedding sessions, I keep it relaxed and fun. I’m a hopeless romantic who found the love of her life. When I see two other people head over heals for each other, I want to capture their lovely moments. I love it when my clients feel joy and are smiling while looking back at their special day. To see prices click on: Contact Me Farms also hold a special place in my heart. Near the end of my undergrad, my grandparents passed away. My mother's childhood farm had to be sold, but lucky enough, I have always been photographing the farm. When showing the photos to my siblings and my cousins, they shared their stories with me. For my senior show, I showcased the photos with our memories. During the exhibition people shared stories to me about their own memories of farms they grew up on. These reactions inspired me to keep documenting Wisconsin farms to keep the stories of our heritage alive. Photographing farms lead to the take a look at the opposite, cities. I’m attracted to street art, buildings and nature. I show the changes of cities growing or becoming abandoned. I'm also comparing the differences and similarities of villages, towns and cities. Another interest I have is bands. Music is an art form I'm passionate about and want the musicians to be seen. They rock and should be celebrated.
